Wiedemann Polska won a contract for general workmanship of construction project that is gabrodiabasite mine in picturesque and far Karelia. Gabrodiabasite is a volcanic rock applied as an admixture in production of the top class asphalts.

Karelia is an autonomic republic in The Russian Federation. It has got borders with Finland and with four Russian districts: Murmansk Oblast, Leningrad Oblast, Vologda Oblast, and Arkhangelsk Oblast. Majory of Karelian land is covered with swamps and peatbogs. Wiedemann won a contract to conduct works in such difficult conditions.

The project is managed by Mr. Andrzej Zarzycki operating from Poland, and by Mr. Jacek Janus directing in The Russian Federation.
