Longitude and latitude is the only address of the investment project in Russian Karelia carried out by Wiedemann, that is erection of gabrodiabasite mine. Gabrodiabasite is the additive applied in production of the best quality asphalts.
 Currently it is the ending stage of land preparation for the investment. Clearing trees is about to end. There are ongoing works such as digging and access roads finishing. After completion of the project Wiedemann is going to plant new trees to balance losses in nature. Lake harbour construction works have been started within the mine site. The mineral rock will be distributed by the most cost effective and green transportation means, i.e. by rail and by water transport.
On the bank of the Onega lake bay there will be erected the port capable to accomodate barges of up to 5 K T dead weight. It is planned to commission the entire project next year.
