Wiedemann Polska is the major contractor of the environmentally friendly investment in Knurów Power Heat Plant (Elektrociepłownia Knurów). On the order from Przedsiębiorstwo Energetyczne Megawat the company builds the modern installation for feeding steam boilers with biomass of waste wood origin.
 
Wiedemann Polska does the entire scope of the "turn key" investment starting from the desing and ending with the start up and commissioning. The line delivered by the company consists of four assemblies - unloading, milling to get ca. 1 mm diameter pellets, intermediate store, and the assembly for feeding the biomass to boilers. The designed capacity of the line is 5 tonnes per hour.
 
Thanks to the investment the heat and power production in Knurów will be more environmentally frienldy. November 2011 is the deadline for the commissioning.
